Transitions
3rd day of 2007. Some recollections of the last few days of 2006 include:
1. Getting evangelised by a taxi driver
Was amused yet humbled that the taxi driver who ferried me to work one day asked me politely about how I thought humans were formed. After agreeing to my reply that humans were created by God, he proceeded (upon special request ... hee) to share with me of how he came to know the Lord.
Really began to wonder in amazement at the simplicity of his heart as he wanted to use his time at work to share Christ with his passengers
2. Having cell group @ CCK
It seems pretty simple / mundane but I was really glad to finally have cell with everyone after so many weeks of partial / non-attendance (in part, due to my negligence lah). Really enjoyed the presence of God and hope that my members were blessed too. We're all entering another phase of our lives and I pray that we will all grow up with Christ in the centre.
3. Expo
Picked up a book for $5 @ the expo after service. What intrigued me was the title "Is that really You, God?" by Loren Cunningham (YWAM founder)
For the price that I paid, this was a steal. Opening my mind to the heart of listening and obeying the voice of God. Inspiring me to pray diligently and renewing that H.U.N.G.E.R again.
Yesh .. that's the impression that I got for 2007. I need to renew that hunger to grow close to God again. I want to savour His Presence and miracles in my life once more.
Looking forward to God's guidance for 2007 =)
